Feb 2018 – NEPTEK supply materials handling system to handle flyer bags, parcels, boxes and ULD air cargo containers for new DHL EXPRESS facility in the capital Luanda, Angola.
The system incorporates a hydraulic scissor lift fitted with a roller bed to facilitate the off-loading and loading of ULD air cargo containers between trucks and the building. The scissor lift ties into a castor deck system inside the building that allows for the ULD containers to be manoeuvred and unpacked/packed easily. As part of the system, NEPTEK also supplied a refrigerated cold room for the storage of perishable goods on pallets. The full range of standard DHL mobile equipment, conveyor modules, shelving and racking was also supplied by NEPTEK to complete the system.
