November 2017 – NEPTEK supply DPD LAZER (Dawn Wing) South Africa with a new sortation conveyor system to handle parcels through an existing DWS (Scanning, Weighing and Dimensioning) system to a sortation belt running the length of their facility. Along the sortation, belt are sortation chutes with beacon lights at each chute which illuminate when a parcel arrives at a specific chute that it needs to be sorted to. The sortation system is capable of handling 2500 parcels per hour reliably. The system has enabled the client to keep up with growing volumes through their facility to meet shipping deadlines.
