October 2019 – NEPTEK supply fully automated conveyor and sortation system integrating INTERROLL MCP (Modular Conveyor Platform) at the Clicks DC in Centurion, South Africa. The system is capable of handling 2400 totes per hour.
The system conveys totes with stock from decanting stations up to multi-level storage to replenish stock. Orders are then picked into totes on each of the picking levels and then conveyed down an AMBAFLEX spiral conveyor to the ground floor where the orders (totes) are conveyed to a packing area. Packed orders are then conveyed up overheard to a dispatch area where the totes are automatically sorted to destination dispatch lanes.
Neptek integrated SICK scanners to scan the barcodes and get instructions from the client’s WCS/WMS in order to route and sort the totes.
