The Corruseal Group has grown into one of the largest manufacturer and supplier of packaging material in South Africa. On the larger projects Dücker Conveyor Systems, represented by Neptek, have supplied and installed complete systems for Corruseal.
On smaller projects Neptek design, manufacture and supply the conveyor systems for a quicker turnaround time on the implementation.
Our latest project for Corruseal is a complete end of line “turnkey” solution at their Cape Town plant to convey the pallets through a Mosca automatic pallet strapping machine and Robopac automatic stretch wrapping machine.
The Neptek conveyor system is integrated together with the Dücker Corrpal palletising machine, automatic strapper and wrapper.
Between the palletising machine and pallet strapping machine Neptek supplied modular belt conveyor for operational requirements. From the strapping machine, through the wrapping machine to the offloading position the conveyor type is driven roller.
The conveyor system is controlled by a Siemens S7-1200 PLC and Siemens HMI for operator interface. All the conveyor motors are controlled by variable speed drives (frequency invertors) for soft start/stop and to reduce start-up load on the motors to conserve energy.
