Neptek supplied the conveyor system to Mpact Corrugated in Cape Town for their end-of-line automatic pallet strapping and wrapping.

The system we supplied consists of the following technology:

• LS HMI and PLC Control.
• Chain Driven Pallet Roller Conveyor.
• Driven Pallet Conveyor Turn Table.
• Mattop Modular Belt Conveyor.
• Field Wiring and Devices.

Pallets are loaded by a forklift at one end and fed to an automatic strapping and wrapping machine. The pallets are automatically conveyed to and from these machines which are interlocked with our system.

Buffer accumulation conveyor technology allows for minor stoppages and wrapping material changeovers.

Once the pallets of corrugated board are strapped and wrapped, they are conveyed to the end of the line where a forklift collects them to put away into the finished goods warehouse.
