Eastern Cape, South Africa – [15/03/2025] Neptek, a leading systems integrator in end-of-line packaging and materials handling solutions, has successfully commissioned a new automated conveyor line at a corrugated packaging facility in the Eastern Cape. The newly deployed system seamlessly connects the converting machine to the load former, ensuring a continuous and optimised product flow of bundled corrugated boards. Engineered for precision and reliability, the conveyor line is controlled via a robust PLC system, complemented by an intuitive Human-Machine Interface (HMI) that empowers operators with real-time control and diagnostics.

One of the standout features of the installation is its intelligent product build-back capability. During pallet changeovers at the load former, the conveyor automatically buffers product, maintaining uninterrupted production and minimising downtime.
