September 2016 – NEPTEK supply TAKEALOT.COM in Cape Town and Johannesburg, South Africa with an accumulation carousel conveyor system at each of their new distribution centres.
The accumulation carousel conveyor system located at the dispatch area of their new facilities allow parcels to return to the main in-feed line. Personal removing parcels from the conveyor don’t have to stress should they miss a parcel as it will return on the carousel.
Each system consisted of approximately one hundred metres of driven line shaft roller conveyor, 45°/90° driven tapered roller curves and 45° driven roller merge. The solution enables TAKEALOT.COM to manage peak periods better in the dispatch area.
