December 2016 – NEPTEK supply DHL EXPRESS with a materials handling system for their new facility in Paarl, Western Cape, South Africa utilised mainly for the distribution of wine from the region to the export market. The system consists of a line shaft driven roller conveyor, ball transfer table, gravity roller conveyors, processing tables, mobile equipment and plastic tote bins. The conveyor line is controlled by a SIEMENS PLC for basic system functionality with variable speed drives to control the speed of the motors.
