December 2015 – NEPTEK supply DHL EXPRESS with a complete materials handling solution for their upgraded facility at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, Kenya. The DHL EXPRESS facility at the airport is a central hub for East Africa.
NEPTEK is very proud to have been involved in such a project which is of such great importance to DHL EXPRESS to service this part of Africa. The system NEPTEK supplied consisted of driven roller conveyors, incline/decline belt conveyors, belt ploughs, lift-up gates, slide chutes, ULD castor decks, ULD deck scales, mobile equipment, shelving and racking.
The benefit of the system is to process parcels through the facility timelessly to meet scheduled international flights and local deliveries in this growing region.
