May 2017 – NEPTEK supply CATERPILLAR South Africa with fully automated pallet and tote handling conveyor systems in their new 60,000m² warehouse and distribution centre in Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa. The pallet conveyor system forms part of the deconsolidating and consolidating work cells at the receiving and dispatch sides of the building respectively.
NEPTEK supplied and integrated four hydraulic tilt tables into the automated pallet conveyor solution for decanting of parts from the bins/pallets. NEPTEK also supplied and integrated a fully automatic tote conveyor system to convey, inspect and sort packed tote bins on the dispatch end of the building.
NEPTEK met all of CATERPILLARS international technical standards proving their capability as a true materials handling systems integrator in the LOGISTICS sector.
