NEPTEK recently completed a project for Fedex Express at their Air Cargo Terminal facility in Johannesburg.
The system comprises of an inbound and an outbound powered roller conveyor system with a manual divert to a reversible inclined belt conveyor feeding the mezzanine floor.
At the end of the conveyor lines a series of powered flexible loading/unloading roller conveyors can be connected to feed the vehicles at the loading bay.
The system improves efficiency by streamlining the vehicle loading and unloading processes and automatically conveying parcels in and out of the facility.
Better ergonomics and a smooth materials flow!!!!
